Under the EU Omnibus Directive, every price reduction must display the lowest price charged during the 30 days before the sale — with fines for stores that don't. This app records your Wix Stores prices, computes that legal reference and shows it under every discounted item on your product page. It never changes a price.
You cut a price for three days. The law wants "Lowest price in the last 30 days: €27.00" next to the struck-through price — computed from real history, not typed by hand.
A consumer authority asks how your references were computed. You download the compliance report and hand it over.
Your site is in German, your customers in Austria. The line reads "Niedrigster Preis der letzten 30 Tage" — the site language picks the wording, seven languages included.
Install, publish your site, done: recording, computing and displaying run by themselves. The dashboard tells you at any time whether the line is on your product page and what it shows.
From the Wix App Market, click Add to Site and accept the read-only permissions on your catalog. The app reads every product and variant price immediately and places its price line on your product page — the classic and the new Wix Stores product page are both supported. Then publish your site: the line goes live on the next reload.
When a product has a compare-at price (the struck-through price), the line appears right under it: the lowest price of the 30 days before the sale started. It follows the variant the visitor selects, inherits your site's fonts and colours, and shows nothing on items that are not on sale — the Directive only requires it during a promotion.
In your site dashboard, open Apps → MT: Omnibus Price History. The first card tells you whether the line is on your product page — green when it is; otherwise an Add to product page button places it for you (Wix asks for your confirmation, then you publish). Below: how many products and price points are recorded, when the last full catalog sync ran, a Sync now button, and every discounted variant with its sale price, its previous price and the Omnibus reference currently shown to your visitors.
One line per promotion and per variant: when it started and ended, the sale price, the previous price, the reference price in force and whether the app had a full 30-day history. Pick 30 days, 90 days or 12 months and download the CSV — if an authority asks, this is what you show. The report is part of the Pro plan.
The settings hold the reference rule — lowest price before the sale started (the EU default) or a rolling window with the sale included —, the window length (30 days by default), an on/off switch for the line, and the wording in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Polish. Edit any text and keep [price] where the amount goes; your site language decides which one is used. Changes reach the product page within a minute.
The app records a price point each time a variant's price actually changes, starting the second it is installed. When an item is on sale, it looks at every price recorded for that variant during the 30 days before the sale started and keeps the lowest one.
| Day | Price | What the app records |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | €30.00 | Regular price, recorded at install |
| 12 | €27.00 | Price lowered — new point |
| 20 | €30.00 | Back to the regular price |
| 25 | Sale starts → the line shows "Lowest price in the last 30 days: €27.00" |
If a sale was already running when you installed the app, or started less than 30 days after install, the app only knows the prices seen since install: the dashboard flags the item as Partial history and the line shows the lowest price actually observed — never a higher, invented one. Limits stated plainly: references are computed in your store currency, and discounts applied by coupon at checkout are not part of the displayed price, so they are not counted.
The line shows on every product in both plans: being compliant is not a paid option. What Basic does not keep is the past — it stores the history the current window needs, while Pro archives 24 months and unlocks the compliance report. History that was not kept cannot be recovered later.
Three checks: the item has a compare-at price (it is actually on sale); the dashboard's first card is green — if not, click Add to product page; your site has been published after the plugin was added.
Each variant has its own history. The line follows the variant the visitor selects. Before any option is chosen, single-variant products show their line; multi-variant products wait for a selection.
Price changes are recorded within about 30 seconds. The product page keeps the line for one minute — reload it after that.
A greyed example line where the real one will sit. Real values only appear on the published site.
One tiny script and one request per product page, cached for a minute. Nothing else is loaded.
No. The line shows on your whole catalogue in both plans, however many products you sell. The difference is how far back the price history is kept: Basic keeps what the current window needs, Pro archives 24 months and adds the compliance report with its CSV export.
